A. H. Belo Launches Two New Divisions Offering Best-in-Breed Marketing Solutions to Local, Regional, National Businesses

Move follows five-year program to build and acquire highly specialized marketing services firms, from search and social to programmatic and marketing automation

DALLAS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Oct. 31, 2017-- A. H. Belo Corporation (NYSE: AHC) today launched two new marketing services divisions that aim to be premier providers in their respective national and local markets, reflecting the company’s continued innovation in the media and marketing services space. The new business-to-business divisions are Belo + Company (B+C), a full-service performance marketing agency with domain expertise to serve clients both regionally and nationally, and Belo Media Group (BMG), with unmatched consumer reach and depth in the North Texas market.

Together, these two new divisions give marketers a single source that provides strategic, data-driven delivery of a wide array of ROI-focused marketing and advertising solutions.

These include Vertical Nerve (online advertising, search engine optimization, digital analytics and website development), Speakeasy (content marketing, reputation management and social media management), Distribion (marketing automation and email marketing), Connect (targeted display advertising) and MarketingFX (print and promotional brokerage). Tim Storer, former CEO of Vertical Nerve, Distribion and MarketingFX, is president of B+C.

BMG also offers the B+C digital and print services in the North Texas market, resulting in 100 percent reach of DFW audiences. Alison Draper, former president of CrowdSource, is president of BMG, responsible for all advertising and sponsorship sales. BMG replaces the division previously known as DMNMedia.

Belo + Company will be located at Campbell Centre in Dallas, while Belo Media Group will be based at the new Statler development in downtown Dallas along with the rest of The Dallas Morning News.
