John McKeon
John McKeon is president and General Manager of The Dallas Morning News, a position he has held since October 2007. He is responsible for business operations including sales, marketing, production and distribution.
McKeon has more than 30 years of strategic, operating and financial experience at public and privately held newspaper companies across the country. Prior to joining The Dallas Morning News, McKeon served as president and Chief Executive Officer of the Los Angeles Newspaper Group. Prior to joining the Los Angeles Newspaper Group, McKeon served as vice president of sales and marketing at Knight Ridder. During his tenure at Knight Ridder, McKeon coordinated all sales and marketing activities across the company and served on the Management Committee. Prior to Knight Ridder, McKeon served as president and General Manager of Long Island's Newsday and the South Florida Sun-Sentinel. Prior to Sun-Sentinel, McKeon also served as senior vice president of advertising at Newsday and the Los Angeles Times.
